Pyramid college of Business and technology celebrated a very colourful and vibrant Basant festival with gaiety and enthusiasm. The ambience was filled with jubilation. The college was decorated with yellow rangoli and kites. The celebration started with Saraswati Pujan seeking the blessings of goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Followed by divine rendition of Shloks, Saraswati Vandana and Bhajans all enjoyed the day by being engulfed in religious  fervour. Staff members and the students arrived dressed in radiant shades of yellow, which is both the colour of spring and that associated with Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of learning who is worshipped on the occasion. The spring of joy took over when a prayer ceremony worshipping Goddess Saraswati was led by offerings of spring flowers by all the students and staff of the school and distribution of Prasad amongst all. The students showcased the vibrant tradition of Punjab depicting the spirit of inner freedom, creative pride and zest for life. Students actively participated in Basant Rangi Poshak- Best Yellow attire , Ai bo-Kite Flying Competition , Sohni-Patang- Kite Decoration, PCBT’s Got Talent- An Open Stage Singing, Dancing, and Poetical Recitation competition, Basant Special Food competition , Animate Basant- Animation Competition , Basant Reel (How they celebrated Basant) and Hamari Basant Pawri Ho Rahi Hai - Basant Party Meme Competition.

Dr. Sanjay Bahl, director PCBT, motivated the students to be progressive learners, setting big goals and putting dedicating efforts as a promising and flourishing human harvest. He wished everyone prosperous Basant Panchami.

• Prof Jatinder Singh Bedi, Chairman, exhorted the students to make best use of their time in order to have a splendid future. He congratulated everyone on the auspicious occasion and made aware the importance of the day. He further wished students on the occasion and blessed them to soar high in the sky like the kites that soar high where sky is the limit.
